The McCallum Art Society is a chapter of the National Art Honor Society which was established for "the purpose of inspiring and recognizing those students who have shown an outstanding ability in art".
Art Society is centered around art-based community service and creating a cohesive artistic community at McCallum. It's a great way to meet other artists at your school and Austin at large!
We meet every Thursday during lunch in Art Room 1 (Mr. Martinez's room).
Every member is required to pay dues and complete a certain number of service hours each year.
Freshmen-Juniors: $10, 6 hours. Seniors: $25 (includes graduation honor cord), 10 hours.
